Samantha J. McDonald

Samantha J. McDonald, 27, of Tiffin, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023 at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay.

Samantha was born September 21, 1995, in Bellevue, to John and Lisa (Dick) McDonald.

Survivors include her parents, John and Lisa McDonald of McCutchenville, fiancé, Dakotah Burd of Tiffin, three sons, Silas, Colt and Lucas Burd all of Tiffin, a brother, Austin McDonald of Canton, three sisters, Ashley Baker of New Riegel, Brooke Reinhart of Fostoria, Chelsea McDonald of Michigan, paternal grandparents, Daryl McDonald of Tiffin and Patricia McDonald of Tiffin, maternal grandmother, Jane Dick, her father-in-law, Rodney Burd of Tiffin, nieces and nephews, Carson Hicks, Derrick Hicks, Jase Hicks, Addison McDonald, Hayden Reinhart, Bennett Reinhart and Breanna McDonald.

Samantha was currently enrolled at Tiffin Academy of Hair Design and a mother to three wonderful baby boys. She loved her iced coffee and polar pops. Samantha was a 2013 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School.

Samantha was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Terry (Barb) Dick and her mother-in-law, Chris Danner.

There will be a Celebration of Samantha’s life held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 11, 2023 at St. John’s United Church of Christ with Pastor Audra Ferguson officiating. There will be no burial held at this time. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
