Sandra Baillie, 77, of Tiffin passed on the evening of Wednesday, May 19th, 2021, at St. Vincent hospital of chronic liver disease and pneumonia.
She was born in Tiffin on April 5th, 1944 to Dale Ivory and Dora Evelyn (Laugherty) Wertz.
Sandy is survived by her loving husband Ronald Baillie of Tiffin, married 50 years. Also surviving are six children, Bonnie (Dennis Ardner) Schube, Pam Schube, Robert (Cheryl) Schube and Debra (Ken) Baillie-Ardner all of Tiffin. Kim (Dane) Feasel of Findlay and Jackie (Murry) Smith of South Dakota. 16 grandchildren – Dakota & Nash Feasel of Findlay, Afton Poignon of Holland, Jordan Clouse of Perrysburg, Merrissa (Chris) Perry of Tiffin, Meranda Clouse of Carey, Jayson Schube of Findlay, Bryan & Aryon Schube of Tiffin, Chelsea Schube of Arcadia, Christopher (Tamar) Pachlhofer of Lacey, WA, Danielle Schube of Paynesville, Lindsey Pachlhofer of Rock-Valley, IA, Tyler (Kaity) Ardner of Fostoria, Travis (Heather) Ardner of Gahanna and Trent Ardner of Tiffin. 15 great grandchildren and one expecting. She is survived by a brother, Dale I (Sonny) Wertz of Manassas, Virginia.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, a child, Jeffrey L. Schube and one grandson, James (Anthony) Poignon, II. Also, her brothers, James L. Wertz, William E. Wertz, Dale Richard Wertz, and sisters, Jean S. Higley, Helen Wertz, Virena E. Vassalle, and Grace L. Werling.
Sandy worked at Autumnwood Care Center for a short time and also was an aid for Home Health Care. She loved being around kids and grandkids. Sandy was a loving, caring and giving aunt to many family and friends. Sandy loved traveling, going to Gatlinburg, TN, taking drives to the lake and Amish country and camping. She loved playing the lottery and going to the casinos.
A memorial Service for Sandy will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin with Pastor Patrick Bottoms officiating. Visitation for family and friends will also be on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. There will be no burial at this time.
