Sandra Elouise Bridgford peacefully went home to be with The Lord on August 21, 2023. Sandra was born, to Wm Neil and Helen Shellhammer on September 19, 1945. Shortly after High School she met the love of her life Paul Bridgford and they were married July 16, 1966 and he preceded her in death on January 13, 2022.
Paul and Sandra were blessed with three children, Shelley (Tom) Smith, Steve (Renee) Bridgford and Stephanie (Tom Rickard) Bridgford. The blessings further continued with grandchildren, Bryan (Miranda) Stacklin, Kristin Watson, Megan Watson, Emmeline Hiler, Ally Bridgford and Turner Bridgford, then great-grandchildren, Ivan, Penelope, Ellison, Ocean and Theodore. Sandra’s family included a sister, Virginia (Herm) Holmer, Chuck Shellhammer and Jeff (Ann) Shellhammer and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sandra loved The Lord and prayed with and for anyone and everyone. She was a successful business woman who had her own business for over 50 years. Sandy had many special friends who were like family. You never saw Sandy looking anything less than fabulous, she was a beautiful and caring Wife, Mom, MawMaw, Great MawMaw and Friend.
Funeral services for Sandra will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, August 25, 2023, at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville with Pastor Michael Padula officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, from 5-8 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Friday, at Attica-Venice cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Attica American Legion, Southern Care Hospice or Attica Food Pantry.
