Saundra L. Williamson, 81, of Tiffin and formerly of Bettsville, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Mercy Health St. Vincent Hospital in Toledo.
Saundra was born December 28, 1943, in Fremont, to the late Edwin V. and Joanne (Swickard) Phillips. She married Roger E. Williamson in Bettsville on June 10, 1961 and he survives in Tiffin.
Other survivors include her daughters, Debra (Alan) Sendelbach and DeAnn (Ed) Fritz both of Tiffin, a son, Greg (Traci Conley) Williamson of Leipsic, five grandchildren, Emily Rinaman, Austin Sendelbach, Tyler Fritz, MacKenzie Watkins and Cole Williamson and six great-grandchildren.
Saundra worked in the cafeteria at Bettsville School for twenty-five years and was a member of Zion United Church of Christ in Bettsville. She enjoyed her casino trips, playing euchre and Texas Hold’em at the Bettsville American Legion, was a Fremont Eagles member and Bettsville American Legion Auxiliary. Saundra was a 1961 graduate of Bettsville High School.
Saundra was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services for Saundra will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, from 4-7 p.m., and Tuesday, from 10:00 a.m., until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Tuesday, at Pleasant Union cemetery in Old Fort.
