Scott A. Boyd

Scott A. Boyd, 60, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025 at his residence.

Scott was born December 1, 1965, in Fremont, to Paul and Betty (King) Boyd. He married Cara (Harmon) in Tiffin on May 13, 2016 and she survives in Tiffin.

Survivors include his mother, Betty (King) Boyd of Sun City, FL, children, Brandy Betz, Amberlee Boyd and Scott Boyd all of Tiffin, nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two brothers, Paul Boyd of Houma, LA and Jimmie Boyd of Tiffin, and two sisters, Teresa Scherger of Bascom and Carol Garn of Sun City, FL.

Scott worked as a roofer and Tow Motor driver. He enjoyed fishing, camping, spending time outside with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and his best friend, his dog “Katie”.

Scott was preceded in death by his father, Paul Boyd.

There will be a memorial service for Scott, at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 26, 2025 at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Friday, from noon until the time of the service at the funeral home. A Veterans service will also be held on Friday, by the United Veterans Council. There will be no burial held at this time.
