Shirley A. Butz

Shirley A. Butz, 85, of Bellevue, passed away at 12:40 a.m., Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at her residence.

Shirley was born February 26, 1938, in Tiffin, to the late Oliver and Rosemary (Baker) Weiker. She married Peter A. Weichman and they later divorced then she married Robert J. Butz and they both preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Allan Weichman of Bellevue, Dena Butz of Bellevue, Jonathan (Always) Butz of Mansfield, Benjamin Butz of Clyde, three grandchildren, Frank, Lisa and Zeddicus and a great-granddaughter, Taylor, two sisters, Loretta Orndorff and Virginia Ditslear both of Tiffin.

Shirley was a homemaker who enjoyed flying, spending time at the family airport, working with her flowers and watching the hummingbirds.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Thomas and Wayne Weiker.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 11-1:00 p.m., Monday, August 21, 2023 at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin. There will be no funeral services held at this time. A graveside service and burial will follow the visitation at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Tiffin.
