Shirley Nadine Emahiser

Shirley Nadine (Goodin) Emahiser, 73, of Fostoria, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023 at her residence.

Shirley was born November 8, 1949, in Honeybee Parkers Lake in Kentucky, to the late Denton Jr. and Dorothy (Perry) Goodin. She married Kenneth R. Emahiser in Honeybee on September 9, 1967 and he survives in Fostoria.

Other survivors include her step-father, Donald Elmer Dull Jr. of Tiffin, children, Kenneth E. Emahiser, Christopher A. Emahiser, Brenda (Shaun Carley) Emahiser-Kreh, Stewart (Lisa) Emahiser, Kimberly (Richard) Molter, Tracy (Michael) Sheets all of Fostoria, fourteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, four brothers, James (Pearl) Goodin of Parkers Lake, KY, Harrold (Brenda) Goodin of Aberdeen, Mississippi, Jeffery (Ann) Goodin of Bucyrus, Stewart (Misty) Goodin of Fostoria, four sisters, Kate (Larry) Emahiser of Rising Sun, Rose (Tom) Whitney of Stanford, FL, Linda (Lester) Rose and Martha Price both of Parkers Lake, KY.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter, Angel Emahiser-Hutchins, two sisters, Betty Reinhart and Lori Goodin.

Shirley was a homemaker who enjoyed knitting, camping, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, crossword puzzles, collecting Christmas bears, angels and watching, Murder She Wrote.

Funeral services for Shirley will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville, with Brother Harrold Goodin officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, from 4-7 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Thursday, at Woodlawn cemetery.
