Shirley A. Stockmaster, 89, of Attica, passed away Friday evening, April 26, 2024, at The Willows of Willard.
Shirley was born in Willard, on March 17, 1935, to Cloys and Varie (Link) Reed. She married Doug Bordner in 1954, and they later divorced. She later married Don Stockmaster on October 10, 1980 in Willard, and he preceded her in death on January 11, 2022.
Survivors include a daughter, Debra (John) Martin, and a son, Scott Bordner, both of Attica, two step-sons, Eric (Antonia Stockmaster of Utah, and Donald S. Stockmaster, of Marblehead, a step-daughter, Rhonda (John) Crunkilton of Butler, twelve grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren, and a sister, Nedra Wilkinson, of Willard.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Colleen A. Kirkpatrick, a sister Verna McDermott, and a brother Haldon Reed.
Shirley retired from R.R. Donnelly and Son in Willard. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Willard, a 1953 graduate of Willard High School. She enjoyed and was very active in the Oak Ridge Festival, and working at the Attica Raceway Park. She also enjoyed quilting at church, sewing, music, and her family events.
Graveside services for Shirley will be held at 10:30 a.m., May 11, 2024 Saturday, at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, on Willard West Road in Willard, with Pastor Janet Wittenmyer officiating. The Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
