Sonja Sue Mason

Sonja Sue Mason, 85, of Republic, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025 at The Cleveland Clinic.

Sonja was born in Tiffin on January 28, 1940, to the late Elmer and Florence (Feasel) Keller. She married Charles “Chuck” W. Mason in Wilson County, TN, on October 20, 1990 and he survives in Republic.

Other survivors include her children, Bob (Becky) Larick of Canyon Lake, TX, John E. (Brenda) Larick of Republic and Jeff (Missy) Larick of Rogersville, TN, grandchildren, Tana (Marcus) Larick, Katie (Bryan) Sachse, Jillian (Michael) Mahaxy, John A. (Heidi) and Bruce Larick, Jenna (Thomas) and Jamie Larick, five great-grandchildren and two sisters, Marietta Amicarelli and Janis (Tim) Fish.

Sonja retired from Excel Wire in Tiffin. She was the previous owner of Larick’s Carryout in Republic and enjoyed fishing at Lake Erie and watching her favorite show General Hospital.

Sonja was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Wilber and Carl James Keller.

There will be no service at this time. The Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville is assisting the family with their arrangements.
