Obituary
Stella J. Hayes, 71 of Tiffin, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023 at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky.
Stella was born June 13, 1952, in Tiffin, to the late Wayne and Gilda (Botton) Traxler.
Survivors include her sons, James Hayes of Tiffin, Kenneth Lofton of Missouri, Dustin Lofton of London, Ohio, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren children, six brothers, Wayne Traxler of Bascom, Gene Traxler of Tiffin, Terry Traxler of Tiffin, Tony Traxler of London, England, Marty Traxler of Largo, Florida, Daniel Traxler of Tiffin and a sister, Laura Kommick of Honor, MI.
Stella worked as a house painter who enjoyed gardening, fixing things and restoring furniture.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, September 4, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until noon at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin. There will be no funeral service or burial held at this time.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
