Steven C. Kraft

Steven C. Kraft, 79, of Tiffin, passed away at 8:41 a.m., Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital.

Steven was born on September 1, 1944 in Tiffin, to the late Herman H. and Alice Louise (Cole) Kraft. He married Charlene M. (Ardner) at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tiffin on June 22, 1968 and she preceded him in death on January 19, 2021.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara (Roger) Brown of Tiffin, a son, Matthew Kraft of Tiffin, three grandchildren, Brooklyn (Drew) Kurtz, Braden Brown and Brenton (Julia) Brown all of Tiffin, a great-grandson, Kohen Kurtz of Tiffin, a brother, Gary (Teresa) Kraft of KY, two sisters, Susan Bracht and Gail (Denny) Foos both Tiffin.

Steven was retired from Seneca Medical in Tiffin. He enjoyed fixing and collecting clocks, his dogs “Journey and Katie”. Steven was an avid sports fan especially OSU and Cleveland Indians.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents, wife and a brother-in-law, Gary Bracht.

Funeral services for Steven will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 10, 2024 at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin with Pastor Phil Moerdyk officiating. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Friday, from 11:00 a.m., until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Friday, at the St. Joseph Catholic cemetery.
