Suzanne Elizabeth Madden, 78, of Tiffin, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center in Tiffin.
Suzanne was born April 22, 1946, in Tiffin, to the late John H. and Geraldine L. (Frederick) Bowersox. She married James M. Madden in Tiffin on August 10, 1974 in Tiffin and he preceded her in death on September 18, 2011.
Survivors include her children, Deb (Ted) Hilborn of Tiffin, Amy (Rafael) Sierra-Delgado of Fostoria, Michael (Brandy) Madden of Tiffin, three step-children, Jaime (Brian) Curley, Jim (JoAnn) Madden and Janet (Bob) Adams, sixteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and a brother, Daniel (Bonnie) Bowersox of Indianapolis, IN.
Suzanne worked as a Licensed Social Worker with WSOS and was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. She served local, District, State and National level for VFW, belonged to post 3343 in Clyde and participated for years For Relay for Life. Suzanne chaired all programs but her heart was in Americanism, Cancer Aid & Research and membership. Her knowledge and presentations were talked about by many and her creativity showed up in planning events like Community Service Projects, District 9 Fall Fest and Military Ball. Suzanne will be remembered most for her love of her children, grandchildren and just being with family.
Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister, Lisa A. Garcia.
The family would like to give a special thanks to all of the staff of Heartland Hospice, Autumnwood Care Center and a very special caregiver, Lucy Ruse.
