Thomas M. Depinet, 81, of Bloomville, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at The Willows of Tiffin.
Tom was born on April 11, 1940, in Mansfield, to Earl F. and Loretta (Cook) Depinet. He married Agnes T. (Wurm) on May 2, 1959, at St. Stephens Catholic Church and she survives in Bloomville.
Survivors include his four sons, Arnold F. (Donna) Depinet of Tiffin, David (Kim) Depinet of Wellington, Doug (Jill) Depinet of Republic and Donald Depinet of Tiffin, a daughter, Patricia (Frederick) Bishop of Tiffin, thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, a brother, Kenneth (Karen) Depinet of Attica, three sisters, Elaine Goshe of Tiffin, Beatrice Smith of Attica and Mildred Schoen of Tiffin.
Tom was a lifelong farmer and a construction operator for Focht Brothers, SE Johnson, Erie Black Top, and Gerken. He was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Attica. Tom enjoyed farming, raising cattle and spending time with his grandchildren.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Carl “Louis” and Bernard Depinet, two sisters, Loretta Goshe and Audrey Hart and a granddaughter, Megan Rose Depinet.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Attica with Rev. Nathan Bockrath officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, from 4-7 p.m., at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville. A Rosary will be prayed on Friday; at 4:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Saturday, at Farewell Retreat cemetery.
