Timothy A. Cornett

Timothy A. Cornett, 72, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his family.

Tim was born on January 17, 1952 in Tiffin to the late Odis and Norma (Halcomb) Cornett. He married Rose A. (Elchert) on October 1, 1971 and she survives in Tiffin.

Survivors include his two sons, Timothy of Bloomville and Joseph of Tiffin, seven grandchildren, Kearston, Martina, Jessalynn, Alainna, Crimson, Austin and Holden, two sisters, Jennifer (Mike) Tyree of Tiffin and Denise Welch of Lexington, KY.

Tim graduated from Tiffin Columbian High School in 1970 and also served in the United States Army with the 3rd Infantry Division from 1971 until 1973.

Tim learned to play guitar and his love of music from his dad. He played with the EZ-Pickens band and later turned to writing and producing his own songs.

There will be no funeral services held at this time. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
