Virginia L. Nutter

Virginia L. Nutter 84, of Attica, passed away Sunday evening January 3, 2021, a Mercy Health Tiffin.

She was born January 6, 1936 in Attica, to Laban and Margaret (Stickel) Moomaw She married Jack Nutter on January 22, 1956 in Attica, and he preceded her in death on May 6, 1988.

Ginny is survived by two sons, Robert (Diane) Nutter of Attica, and Rodney (Julie) Nutter of Virginia Beach, Virginia, a daughter, Renee (Steve) Niemiec of Orlando, Florida, eleven grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren, a sister, Eileen Senn of Attica, a sister-in-law, Mary Moomaw of Attica.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, David and Richard Moomaw, and a son, Ronald K. Nutter.

Ginny was a former bank teller and cashier at Sutton Bank in Attica, and an office receptionist for Drs. Jump and Sizemore in Willard. She was a 1954 graduate of Attica High School. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and babysitting her grandchildren, and her dog Molly.

A private family funeral service will be Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home, Bloomville, with Pastor Mark Boedeker officiating. Burial will be in Attica-Venice Cemetery in Attica. The Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR. 19 is assisting the family with the arrangements.
