Virginia Marie Predieri, 86, of Attica, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at her residence.
Virginia was born March 7, 1937 in Willard to (the late) Frederick L Sr. and Evelyn (King) Nagel. On August 11, 1957 she married Tony Predieri at First Baptist Church in Attica. He survives in Attica.
Survivors include her daughters, Nancy (Jerry) Smoot of Republic, Cindy (Dave) Daniel of Willard, Tina (Dave) Strausbaugh of New Washington; six grandchildren Beth (Cory) Fry of Bloomville, Nathan (Rachel) Smoot of Tiffin, Miranda (Craig) Bordner of Attica, Chad (Clara) Daniel of Ferndale, MI, Emily (Jay) Myers of Huron, and Adam Daniel of Willard; seven great-grandchildren Cobe Fry, Grayson Smoot, Brinley, Aiden, and Noelle Daniel, Quinn Bordner, Jackson Myers, and one baby girl Myers on the way; and her brother, Frederick “Yogi” (Donna) Nagel of Huron.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Anita Thompson
Virginia was a 1955 graduate of Attica High School. She dedicated her time to being the foundation of her family as a wife and mother and was a committed member of the First Baptist Church of Attica. She was also a long standing member of the Seneca East Music Booster Club.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Southern Hospice Care, Penny Montgomery, Donna Combs, and Sandy Reed for their love and support in respect to Virginia’s care.
There will be no funeral services at this time. In remembrance of Virginia, a graveside service at Attica-Venice Cemetery will be held at a later date. The Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville is assisting the family with their arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church in Attica or the Bliss Memorial Library.
