Wayne A. Kipps

Wayne A. Kipps, 72, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025 at his residence.

Wayne was born September 6, 1952, in Tiffin, to the late Clarence R. and Margie M. (Simons) Kipps. He married Lynn (Bogart) in Tennessee on October 23, 2011 and she survives in Tiffin.

Other survivors include his son, Michael (Michelle) Kipps of Hanover, PA, step-children, Mike (Sheri) Hawk of Tiffin, Tom (Amanda) Hawk of Green Springs, Melinda (Greg) Kiser of Tiffin, Jamie (Matt Fox) Hall of Bucyrus and Cody (Brittany) Hall of Fremont, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a brother, Larry (Robin) Kipps of Tiffin.

Wayne worked as a Carpenter and was a member of the Tiffin Eagles. Wayne was a man of many talents, he enjoyed making many wood strip canoes, Harley Davidson motorcycles and also enjoyed all types of wood working.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be a Celebration of Wayne’s Life held from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m., on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at the Tiffin Eagles in the Hickory room downstairs. Burial will be held at Farewell Retreat cemetery at a later date. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
