Wayne William Myers, 82, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2026 at his residence.
Wayne was born September 16, 1943, in Fremont, to the late William Arthur and Betty Jane (Binkley) Myers. He first married Kathleen M. (Smith) and she preceded him in death and he later married Linda M. (Alford) in Clyde on June 15, 1985 and she survives in Tiffin.
Other survivors include his two daughters, Amy Myers and Heather Curtiss both of Clyde, four grandchildren, Tyler Stout, Kiana Curtiss, Austin Curtiss and Katelyn Gomez, five great-grandchildren and a brother, Dave (Penny) Myers of Espyville, PA.
Wayne retired from Clyde Whirlpool after 39 plus years. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and playing solitaire on the computer. Wayne was a United States Navy Veteran serving during the Cuban War, a life member of Clyde VFW and the Tiffin Amvets and was also a member of the United Veterans Council Funeral Honor Guard.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, and his first wife, Kathleen M. Smith.
A Celebration of Wayne’s life will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Tiffin Amvets from noon until 2:00 p.m. A Military Honor Guard service will be held at noon, on Friday, also at Tiffin Amvets rendered by the United Veteran Council. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
