William B. Stauffer

William B. Stauffer, 86, of Tiffin, passed away Friday, August 15 2025 at Autumnwood Care Center in Tiffin.

William was born January 29, 1939, in Tiffin, to the late William R. and Corleen (Thome) Stauffer. He married Geraldine R. (Kin) at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on September 11, 1976 and she preceded him in death on May 14, 2019.

Survivors include his two sons, Bill (Karen) Stauffer of Juneau, Alaska, and Tim (Tammy) Emshoff of Tiffin, six grandchildren, Melinda Stauffer, William B. Stauffer, Brandon (Sierra) Emshoff, Cadin (Tegan Wietrzykowski) Emshoff, Ryan Emshoff and Roman Williams and a great-granddaughter, Holly Stauffer and also many nieces and nephews.

William worked in the Ohio Laborers Union at Davis Besse Nuclear Power Plant and was a graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School.

William was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two daughters, Sharlene Stauffer and Trina Emshoff, a grandson, Cory Sigler, a brother, Jeff Stauffer and two sisters, Janis Kirby and Pam Young.

There will be no funeral services for William at this time. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
