William C. Steinmetz

William C. Steinmetz, 90, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2025 Mercy Health - St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo.

William was born June 3, 1935, in Toledo, to the late Willis and Catherine (Schessler) Steinmetz. He married Bonnie (Conley) on June 28, 2012 and she survives in Tiffin.

Other survivors include his children, Steven Steinmetz of GA, Joel Steinmetz of Curtice, OH, and Jennifer Sosie of Oregon, OH, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

William retired from L.O.F. Glass as production developer. William was a 1953 graduate of Macomber Vocational High School in Toledo and a United States Marine Veteran. He was the first driver for S.C.A.T. and was very proud of that and was a 45 year member of AA.

William was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bernard and Patrick Steinmetz.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, from 6-8 p.m., at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin. There will be no funeral services or burial held at this time.
