Wrenn Willey Obituary

With shattered hearts, we announce the passing of Wrenn Roosevelt Willey, age 7, who left this world far too soon on November 19, 2025, in Tiffin, Ohio. Born on November 14, 2018, in Bellevue, Ohio, Wrenn brought immeasurable joy and light into the lives of all who knew him.

Wrenn was a first-grade student at Washington Elementary School in Tiffin, where his bright mind and boundless energy made him a beloved presence among classmates and teachers alike. His days were filled with curiosity and enthusiasm, always eager to learn and explore the world around him.

A spirited athlete from an early age, Wrenn embraced every opportunity to play and compete. He played soccer through the Tiffin YMCA and wrestled with the Ohio Cyclones, where he won many matches, including a tournament. He also played baseball with the Cubs through Tiffin Youth Sports Association and flag football through the Fremont Rec Center on the “Steelers” team—a name chosen by him and  his devoted father Dustin Willey, a passionate Steelers fan. Wrenn’s athletic journey was guided by his father’s coaching and his mother Raven Broski’s unwavering support from the sidelines. Together, they nurtured his love for sports and adventure.

Wrenn’s zest for life extended beyond organized sports, he loved Urban Air, Jungle Junction, parks, fairs, Cedar Point, and arcades—places where his energetic spirit could truly shine. He enjoyed car shows with his dad and power wheel derbies at county fairs, dirt biking and playing with his cousins often ended in breathless laughter and unforgettable memories.

Despite his young age, Wrenn lived a life rich with experience and wonder. He flew in airplanes, soared in helicopter rides, and traveled across the country—each journey fueled by his eagerness to discover new places and make lasting memories.

Wrenn’s personality was as vibrant as his adventures. He was kind, smart, funny, playful, inquisitive, considerate—and above all else—deeply loving. He thrived on movement and excitement—running until his cheeks turned red and sweat poured down—proof that he lived every moment to its fullest.

Wrenn leaves behind a family whose love for him knows no bounds. He is mourned by his devoted mother Raven Broski; maternal grandmother Carrie (Amanda) Greene; uncle Gabriel Boose; aunt Hazel Alridge; cousins Ayden and Dejonte; and many other great-aunts, uncles, and cousins. On his paternal side, he is remembered by great-grandparents Carroll and Jean Darr and Nancy Weltin; grandparents Ralph and Lisa (Darr) Willey; aunts Amity (Mike) Patron and Megan Willey; and cousins Orion, Owen, Addie, Evelyn, and Austin, and many other great-aunts, uncles and cousins.

He joins in eternal rest his beloved father Dustin Willey; baby brother August Eagon; maternal grandparents Edward and Marilyn Broski; Uncle Julian Boose; and paternal grandfathers Larry Joe Weltin and Loren Elmer Willey.

A private service will be held for close family as they honor the extraordinary life of their sweet Wrenn. In this time of unimaginable grief, the family asks for continued prayers, compassion, and space as they navigate this profound loss.

Wrenn Roosevelt Willey lived a life that radiated joy far beyond his years. His light will never dim in the hearts of those who loved him. We thank you for every adventure shared, every smile given freely, every moment lived fully. Your laughter echoes still—and always will.
